Alan Espinoza

Professor at Sinfonia Por El Peru & First Clarinet of the Academy Orchestra of Sinfonia Por El Peru

Alan Espinoza Venezuelan musician who studied in the renewed musical project El Sistema, studied at the Simón Bolívar Conservatory of Caracas and the Latin American Clarinets Academy of Venezuela.

He has received lessons with International teachers like Luis Rossi, Jonathan Cohler, Reinhard Wieser, Antonio Saiote, Paulo Sergio Santos, Ronald van Spaendonck and Walter Seyfarth and with the Venezuelan teachers Jorge Montilla, Valdemar Rodríguez, Edgar Pronio, Henry Crespo, Gorgias Sánchez, Orlando Pimentel and Carmen Borregales.

He has participated in international tours to France, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Curacao and Saint Lucia.

He was Principal Clarinet, soloist and teacher at El Sistema.

Alan was principal clarinet and soloist in the Symphonic Band June 24 of Venezuela and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Carabobo for ten years.

Guest clarinet player at: Simon Bolívar Venezuela Youth Symphony Orchestra, Simón Bolivar Symphonic Band (Europe international tour), Chamber Orchestra from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and the National Symphony Orchestra of Peru.

Recently was invited as an artist and soloist at the VII and VIII Workshop for Clariperu young clarinetists and the music school of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).

Currently resides in Peru as a Soloist musician and works as professor at Sinfonia Por El Peru and First Clarinet of the Academy Orchestra of Sinfonia Por El Peru, a musical project led by tenor Juan Diego Florez.

Alan wants to develop and implement the clarinet curriculum for beginner, intermediate and advanced level students in addition to supporting and developing the clarinet section as well as the woodwind section and also developing the soloist level in each student.
