What a week! The inaugural Buffet
Crampon USA Summer Clarinet Academy was a huge success. With 20 select students
from all over North America and a world-class faculty, the Academy marked the
beginning of an annual, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young clarinettists.
Pictured above are the New York Philharmonic's Associate Principal and E-flat
Clarinet Mark Nuccio working with Academy student Keith Northover (left) and
the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's Principal Clarinet Greg Raden coaching Academy
student Charlan Mueller (right).
Check back all this week for more images from the Academy, including J.
Lawrie Bloom of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Pascual Martinez-Forteza of the
New York Philharmonic and Ronald Van Spaendonck of Belgium! New pictures updated daily!
