Buffet Crampon USA, Inc. is pleased to announce a new multi-year
partnership with the University of North Florida Department of Music, located
in Jacksonville, Florida. The partnership, initiated in spring 2007,
will provide the UNF Department of Music with much-needed musical instruments
and will enable Buffet Crampon USA Inc. to increase exposure within the north Florida musical and
educational communities.
The University
of North Florida is home
to one of the most recognized performance-based music programs in the country.
With an emphasis on American Music and comprised of dedicated faculty members
who are recognized artist/practitioners in their fields, UNF’s Department of
Music is a limited access and exclusively undergraduate program.
The agreement provides UNF’s Music Department, chaired by Dr. Gordon Brock (pictured on right with Francois Kloc, Buffet Crampon USA's Director of Marketing), with
much-needed woodwind and brass instruments.
UNF will be receiving specialized woodwind instruments over a two year
period that students do not typically purchase for themselves. Buffet Crampon USA will also donate Antoine
Courtois Brass Instruments and Besson Brass Instruments from Buffet Crampon’s professional
brass instrument lines.
Buffet Crampon USA will receive valuable marketing
exposure and promotion through UNF in exchange for the instrument donation. This branding will be accomplished through
multi-season, individual concert and Department print, direct mail, website and
radio advertisement, in-hall recognition and Buffet Crampon product placement
at UNF-hosted and -related performances.
The University of North Florida Department of Music will also host the
Buffet Crampon USA 2007 Summer Clarinet Academy August 4-10, 2007. For more information on this exciting opportunity, please follow
